Interim Imaging Manager – Radiology

Location

Yakima, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; flexibility required, including availability for after-hours phone escalations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all imaging service lines, including MRI, CT, Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Center operations
• Manage staff scheduling and triage coverage placement across multiple imaging sites in the Yakima area
• Handle conflict resolution between staff, address patient complaints, and maintain effective communication with physicians and other providers
• Oversee budget management, timecard review and approval, and payroll functions
• Float to affiliated imaging locations as needed to ensure operational continuity
• Remain available by phone after hours to address escalated staff concerns or issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of overall imaging/radiology experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Manager, Director, or Leadership role
• Active Washington State license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARDMS certification required
• Prior travel or contract experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Philips Vue PACS
• Experience managing high-volume imaging departments (department census of approximately 13,000 patients per month)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for operational communication
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-modality imaging operations
